Wellesley 15 rowing
Reminiscent of the old seaside lifeboats but with the added aesthetics of an elegant fantail — that’s the Wellesley 15. It’s a hull that can land or depart from a beach, dock, or boat launch. She’s a forgiving hull that seems to ignore 2’-3’ chop and swells. Versatile, safe, and comfortable in “interesting” weather that might otherwise create ill feelings and a rush toward home. Hull speed barely drops as oars progress from recovery to catch. A 20-mile day, fishing, or a casual sightseeing late afternoon all fit comfortably into the Wellesley 15’s wheelhouse.

How It's Made
Each laminate includes CPR — Critical Placement Reinforcing, and all hulls are produced using the state-of-the-art Vacuum Infusion Process. Vacuum-infused hulls result in the optimal resin-to-fiber ratio, which ensures maximum strength with minimum weight.
While the bare bones version of the Wellesley 15 is fully functional and attractive, everyone at Nostalgia Boatworks enjoys the challenge of personalizing a craft to suit the owner's exclusive dreams and fancy exactly. The boatbuilding shop includes high-tech equipment like lasers, CNC machines, 3D printers, and more. The absolute love of craft combined with hi-tech equipment and hand-worked detail make the Wellesley 15 owner worthy as well as seaworthy.
